February Kickin’ Newsletter – 2023

Why You’ll Love TM Martial Arts Academy!

We’ve got a BIG question for you! Are you ready??

PARENTS: What are your goals for your kids? I mean long-term goals, like developing confidence, respect, discipline, and leadership skills. Not sure? Here’s the formula for figuring it out… Imagine your child in 5 years, 10 years, 20 years… What do you want that to look like? Do you want a confident junior higher who is immune to negative peer pressure? Or a driven high schooler who has developed a sense of discipline in his/her school work? Better yet, a college student who knows how to defend themselves in a dangerous situation and can make wise personal decisions? Do you eventually want an adult who knows how to lead a team, do business with integrity, and manage time wisely? These are the types of life skills many parents want their children to develop. But NONE of this will happen on its own! These skills have to be intentionally cultivated, starting at a young age.

ADULTS: What are your goals for yourself? Are you trying to lose weight? Gain flexibility and strength? Learn how to protect yourself? Develop discipline in every area of your life? Imagine yourself 5 years, 10 years, or 20 years from now. How do you plan to reach those goals? They won’t just happen on their own! These things have to be intentionally cultivated, starting now.

HERE’S THE THING! Our programs are designed to help students reach personal goals! That’s what makes TM Martial Arts Academy different from other schools. We would LOVE the chance to discuss your personal goals and develop a plan to get you/your child there! Call today to schedule a goal-setting chat with our Program Director! But first, take a look at what our students are saying…

“Martial Arts training helped me achieve good habits by helping me make good choices. It also helps me be strong. We do repetitions which helps me remember and makes it a habit. Martial Arts helps me be confident in myself and helps me to be a good person.” -Edward Dinges, 6 years old

“Martial Arts has helped me be more self-confident. It has taught me that it is important to eat healthy and exercise. I will be able to go away to college and my grandma won’t worry so much. They will know that I can defend myself if needed. And that I will be able to make good decisions based on the things I need to do in karate.” -Lola Schottenloher, 9 years old

“Martial Arts has taught me to be healthy. Martial Arts has taught me to exercise more. To listen to the person that is speaking. To use my voice. It has taught me to focus.” -Jacob McDonald, 9 years old

“Thanks to my time studying and training at TM Martial Arts, I feel much more motivated and willing to try more things. I actually do my homework on time and I enjoy extracurricular things again and work out during my free time. I feel like almost a completely different person than I was just 1 year ago!” -Elora Jaecks, 15 years old
