This is where you have to strike a balance. You want to be honest with yourself, without being too down on yourself at the same time. Can you achieve this goal? Is it realistic for you? Make sure that it is something that you can and want to do.
Make sure that your goal is something that you have the time and energy to be able to do. You want to take a look at the bigger picture of your life, and make sure that it’s something that can fit into the background.
Give yourself a deadline for motivation and accountability. When you have a specific date or month that you want to accomplish your goal by, you’ll tend to push a little harder.
In order to best set yourself up for success, it may help to keep yourself focused on one goal at a time. If you try to do it all at once, you might find yourself distracted or overwhelmed.
